After meeting Sam and Nolan I knew that they would be fantastic during their session.  They have a love of the outdoors and have two amazing little pups.  One being a boxer mix, so how could I not just fall in love with them and want to be part of their special day.  After buying a house and getting engaged in front of family and friends, they settled in and began planning their special day, including their engagement session.  Sam had all these wonderful ideas, and in truth told me that if she could she would take the pictures herself.  After finally settling on a date, which happened to be one of the hottest and most humid nights of the summer I think we got some amazing shots that tell their love story.

Blue Marsh lake in the background was so beautiful with the sun gleaming off the water made for a perfect evening.  I loved the location, and might have to use it again.

The pinterest board Sam created had a lot of great ideas, but without a doubt we had to get this shot.  The puppy did awesome and I think it turned out pretty great!

And just down the road their was an amazing bridge over a creek that made for a perfect location to get in comfy clothes and maybe get a little wet as well.

The sun was at the perfect location… I don’t think I could have asked for more 🙂
