It’s not everyday that you are asked to photograph a wedding, at least not for me, so when I am asked I get pretty stoked, but when it is a former student who is so incredibly sweet, the opportunity gets that much better.

Only being out of school a year, Erica started with calling me Mrs… we had to squash that right away. Meeting over Christmas break, we picked an indoor location in case of bad weather, but it was in the high 40s and it was a perfect day to explore the city around central market.   But as we sat and chatted with Jeremy in the lobby of the Lancaster Marriot I began to see a woman that was beautiful, intelligent and ready for whatever life had to throw at her with the love of her life at her side.  After getting through the details, I loved how they answered my questions.  When asked, both Erica and Jeremy responded with what they loved most about each other was their relationship with God, not the typical response one gets from two love birds fresh out of high school.  But there is was, for them it was so natural and real and then came the wonderful sound of Erica’s giggle and Jeremy’s beaming smile as they told me their story of how they first met, and how he proposed.   It was an inspiring day and I so look forward to them starting their lives together as husband and wife.
