The holiday season is just something magical that brings a smile to my face along with just a touch of anxiety. With the end of the fall sessions with all the beautiful fall colors and warm afternoons (as long as the wind isn’t blowing) comes the craziness of a two week sprint to get Christmas pictures done. With little ones in adorable sleeveless dresses (really, why do manufacturers make Christmas dresses with no sleeves, we live in the Western hemisphere and it is bloody cold, but that is a rant for another time) and mamas who want to get the pictures taken so that they can send out cards, there is a limited amount of time to get things done.
However, these two families know how to do it. We tried the Lancaster Train Station, every year they have a large beautiful tree shining through their front windows, well until this year. However, with the amazing interior and the ability to block the wind down on the tracks we got some great shots for their holiday cards. And then the Geib family showed up perfectly dressed and matching. In the past I always had to work for smiles, but not this time, they all did a great job.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help create these memories for you. And remember I love seeing all of your smiling faces on cards. I am always amazed how many cards I get with the photographs I took. Clients become friends and it warms my heart!
I believe in the magic of Christmas, and I love all the wonderful memories I help create. Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, and to all have a great new year!
