I am always amazed how people find me and so honored that they choose me to photograph their special day. I met Amy and Brian last fall when Amy contacted me over facebook for engagement photos. As soon as I met Amy and Brian as a couple I could tell that they had something special. The gleam in their eyes as they looked at one another. And then as I listed to Amy recount their first kiss as she was getting ready to walk down the isle, explaining that she felt it the whole way down to her toes, I knew that they had a love that would last a lifetime. Since the crazy afternoon of doing engagement photos I lot had happened, Brian was sent to Florida after the hurricane while Amy was faced to deal with finalizing all the wedding details and finding a new job. But through it all, the phone calls and all the interactions there was a calm, I believe because both realized that they have found their soul mate!
With the day finally arriving, the Firehouse at Landis Valley Museum was bustling with color, nothing that had originally been planned but the purples and greens just fit perfectly together. As the moments got closer to the actually ceremony there were a few tears of joy and happiness but as Amy walked down the isle with her brother by her side there was nothing but smiles and happiness. Within the ceremony Amy’s sons were asked to commit to this new family and relationship along with Brian commitment to the boys. It was so sweet and heart felt, I may have had to swipe a tear away myself. The day continued and I don’t think Amy or Brian could have asked for anything more. It was a day of love, family and commitment.
I wish you a lifetime of love, embraces and smiles! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your day!
