The 2021 wedding season is in full swing. I had the honor of capturing all the love that Kyla and Tyler share for each other, their family and for God. It was a beautiful day that started early with a few drops of rain and fog but ended with laughter and a lot of confetti.

Tyler and Kayla are the laid back couple that makes my job so easy but also the type of people we all hope that we get to have friends for life.  It was easy to see that they were each marrying their best friend, when asked if they were nervous or if there was anything I could help with, they both responded “nope, just ready to get this done!”  And with every couple, after months of planning and making decisions they were ready for their big day.

However, I will never forget when I told Tyler that he was going to lose his mind when he saw Kayla due to how beautiful she was, Tyler response was “I know, but she is always beautiful”- could there be a more perfect answer and there must have been dust in his eyes when she walked down the isle 🙂  The day continued according to plan (if you ever need a group to stay on task, I would suggest you find Tyler’s sister Lori – she was amazing).  From the ceremony, to pictures at the Cloister, to the first dance, to the speeches and finally and the confetti send off, the day was perfect.

Kayla and Tyler I hope you have an amazing time in Acadia – super jealous, and I can’t wait to hear all about it!  I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter! I hope you enjoy some of my favorite shot from your amazing day.

I had the honor of photographing their first wedding in May, but with Covid Mariah and Neal decided to have their wedding with all their guests in September. The beautiful blue skies smiled down on the perfect day, surrounded by friends and family, Mariah and Neal pledged before God to spend the rest of their lives together.

Mariah and Neal are high school sweethearts and watching the two of them no one could deny the love that they share. From the smiles they shared to the small touches, to the small “allergic reaction” Neal had when Mariah walked down the isle to the amazing laughter that echoed through the reception hall, the two of them were surrounded by love and laughter throughout the day. I was so blessed to be part of their day.

With a change of venue, covid and a few other minor issues along the way, nothing could stop these two. The beautiful scenery of the Farm at Eagle’s Ridge was the perfect backdrop to this wedding. From the amazing orange flowers surrounded by greens at the ceremony to the beautiful lights over the sweetheart table, everything was perfectly planned and it was an amazing day.

Brandon and Megan were surrounded with love from family and friends and even a life-size cardboard cut-out of a cousin who couldn’t make it to the ceremony. From the first look to the ceremony through the dancing of the reception and ending with sparklers, the day could not have been more perfect. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture so many special moments and I wish you a lifetime of love! Enjoy a few of my favorites!

The day started off with a few drops of rain and cloud cover but the skies began to shine as the time for the ceremony approached.  Everything was planned with elegant simplicity, the succulents on the tables, the sweet blue remnants around the bride’s bouquet, the necklace given to the flower girl that had once belonged to the bride and all the men in matching Nike’s. 

As Christina walked down the isle, smilies abounded and the sweet exchange of vows brought tears to one’s eyes.  The couple raced down the isle after being announced Mr. and Mrs.  After an unforgettable first dance and the couple hand dipped ice cream for all their guests.  Zeb and Christina were surrounded by family and friends that kept the night going with plenty of dancing and laughter.   

Elijah and Josh – so many tears of happiness surrounded by love!

The day was warm and rain was a threat, but nothing would diminish the beauty and love that came together to create the perfect day.  I was overwhelmed by the love and friendship that surrounded Elijiah and Josh.

Everyone came together to create a beautiful day full of elegance.  The ceremony along the creek was something of beauty and as their beautiful children walked down the isle there wasn’t a dry eye.  The ceremony ended with the announcement of the entire Cruiz family.

The night continued with a small storm but plenty of love, laughter and dancing.  It was a great day and I was blessed to be able to capture so many moments.

Zach and Megan are college sweethearts that took the big leap of faith and love into a lifetime commitment surrounded by their family and friends. From the moment I met Megan I was struck by her sweet smile and her wonderful giggle, both can only be enhanced by the adoring glances by Zach, the two of them are the type of people that you are thankful that they are in your life. Both being teachers (Megan does kindergarten – a.k.a hearing squirrels – and Zach is a tech ed teacher) I loved chatting with them and watching all the emotions of the day.

After all the planning, and gathering of pallets to make a killer backdrop for their reception, the day final came. The sun was shinning and the stain glass windows were beautiful as the light decorated the church pews. It may have been the hottest day of the summer and we were all thankful for the cool air conditioning, but it did not stop anyone from seeing the love that these two share. The first look by both Megan’s parents brought tears of joy from the entire room (I am not crying, you are crying). The ceremony began with amazing organ music, and the smile on Zach’s face when he saw Megan was priceless. The rest of the ceremony was sweet with a braiding ceremony followed by fun and laughter at the reception. Watching Zach sing their wedding song to Megan is something that I will never forget, not sure I can even find the right words. The night ended with a sparkler send off. It was a perfect day full of love, laughter, family and friends, and ever after.

The first weekend of the summer was magical. Reinhart’s Tree Farm was a beautiful setting for Maria and Chris to have the perfect day.

Maria and Chris are the type of people that as soon as you meet them you feel like family. The family that surrounded Maria and Chris on their wedding day brought love and plenty of laughter. The day was perfectly planned from the emotional first looks to the ceremony to the beautiful sunset walk through the trees to all the details – Maria received a beautiful necklace from her sister and Chris wore a tie clip that was his grandfathers and they made sure to honor those who could not be there today with pictures and memories being shared in speeches and with stories being told.

The sweet smiles, the tender embraces and the love Chris and Maria shares makes me believe that the wish of Chris’s mother will come true – that they will have a love and a marriage like she has with Chris’s father.
