Round two of August was in a beautiful rustic farm in southern York, with beautiful colorful details, peacock with a rustic flare. It was amazing to see all the colors come together. I met Alexis and Terry from a wonderful client whom had a family session done in Lititz, I love when I am recommended by friends and clients, it really does warm my heart. As soon as I met Alexis and Terry last year during their engagement session, I knew that their wedding would be fun and a wedding to remember.
Their wedding day was a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky (a blessing and a curse). The heat index reaching upwards of 117, it was a day that will not soon be forgotten by those who attended. Hope that you enjoy some photos from the day we all got “fryd”.
The lovely ladies gathered at Alexis’s parents house to get ready for the wedding. It was awesome to be part of this special time, there were some tears but many more laughs. Memories that will last a lifetime.
A beautiful bride waiting to get into her wedding gown, with the beautiful background of the farm.
And then the time came for the ceremony. Everyone was a little warm, but the red checks of the little ring bearer is just too cute!
Father of the bride watching from the second story porch waiting for Alexis, it was pretty amazing to be part of the moment.
With a heavy dress, and temperatures continually rising – Alexis was trying to find anyway she could find to cool down. I love her smile! The cake was beautiful and so tasty, you can never go wrong with Achenbach’s.
Seriously, how can you not love a couple who enter the reception having a beverage. Just makes me giggle and love the day even more.
It is not every day that the father of the bride is carrying to ensure that everyone is safe, including the bride when the garter is removed.
Childhood friends coming out on a hot August day, that is what friendship is all about.
Thank you Alexis and Terry for allowing me to be part of your special day, it was an unforgettable day! I hope you have many years of happiness and love!
