When I first met Jenn and Rodney, I knew that I would laugh and enjoy the time we would share. Right from the start I was told, we are getting married in August and I don’t want to be hot, so lets keep it to a minimum. Ok, got it! They were so much fun during their engagement session, brining their own story of hunting, love and laughter, I just knew that their day would be perfect.
Their big day finally came and it was a picture perfect day, it was in the 70s with a slight breeze and a bright beautiful sky. This was the first time I have photographed a wedding at Brick Gables and it was beautiful (and the air conditioning was a big bonus). With the beauty of the refinished barn, Jenn and Rodney added their own special twist. From the wood slabs under the centerpieces from the woods that have belonged to Jenn’s family for generations, to the sweet yellow rose to remember Rodney’s grandmother; there was love and family all around them. The ceremony was perfect – short and meaningful, just the way I like it, finished off with a selfie by the groom. And there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Rodney got to enjoy a dance with her little girl. Finishing up the night with dancing, laughter and love, it was the perfect day! Congrats Jenn and Rodney, thank you for allowing me to be part of your day and I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter.
A happy bride, is a beautiful bride!
The pin Jenn got for Rodney for his wedding day so he could carry his grandmother who passed away close to his heart.
Thanks again for allowing me to be part of your day! Congrats on becoming Mr & Mrs.
